Abstract:
Disclosed are a protective sheath (1) and a leakage cable (100) using the protective sheath (1). The protective sheath (1) is used for wrapping a cable (2). The protective sheath (1) comprises a composite layer (30), and an oxygen-isolation layer (20) and an outer protective layer (10) successively wrapping the composite layer (30) from inside to outside. The composite layer (30) is selected from one of or a combination of a ceramic composite layer, a glass fibre, a mica tape and a polyimide film. The protective sheath (1) and the leakage cable (100) can enable the cable (2) to have a lower density of smoke when burnt, thereby being capable of being widely applied to places with higher environmental requirements.
