Abstract:
A protector of cylinder lock for vehicle in which a shutter plate acting between a position for closing an insertion hole corresponding to the key hole of a cylinder lock and a position for opening the insertion hole is contained in a casing, and a magnet lock allowing action of the shutter plate from the closing position to the opening position when a magnet key is fitted in a fitting recess is disposed on the casing. The magnet lock (25A) comprises a rotor (26A) formed independently from the shutter plate (24A) and provided with the fitting recess (27) wherein the rotor (26A) is linked with the shutter plate (24A) through a link mechanism (44). Degree of freedom is increased in the selection of material and manufacturing method of the shutter plate and the shutter plate can be formed of a high strength material.
