Abstract:
In the present invention, an automatic teller machine (1) comprises: a cassette unit (36) which is constructed so as to be able to be attached to and removed from a banknote cassette loading space (17S) formed in a lower frame (17), and which has a storage space for storing therein banknotes to be dispensed to or received from a user during a transaction and an insertion slot (40) allowing banknotes from the outside to be stored in the internal storage space or dispensed to the outside from the storage space; and a protector (60) which can be attached to the cassette unit (36), and which has an upper surface part (62) which covers the insertion slot (40) when the protector is attached to the cassette unit (36) and an arm unit (80) which extends from both ends of the upper surface part (62) so as to face both right and left side surfaces of the cassette unit (36) and in which fitting parts (82) for fitting to fitted parts (84) formed on both side surfaces of the cassette unit (36) are formed.
