Abstract:
Methods are provided for inhibiting or suppressing viral replication in an infected host cell. More specifically, methods are provided for inhibiting or suppressing viral replication in an infected host cell by administering compounds that inhibit cellular protein phosphatase 2A. Such methods are advantageous for treating viral infections such human immunodeficiency virus infections.
