Abstract:
A protocol conversion apparatus (1) according to the present invention comprises a first communication unit (12) that communicates with a power conditioner (2) compatible with a first charging protocol, a second communication unit (13) that communicates with an electric vehicle (3) compatible with a second charging protocol, and a control unit (11) that is a conversion unit, that is provided between the first communication unit (12) and the second communication unit (13), that, upon receiving from the first communication unit (12) a communication signal received from the power conditioner (2), converts the communication signal to a communication signal in accordance with the second charging protocol and outputs the converted communication signal to the second communication unit (13), and that, upon receiving from the second communication unit (13) a communication signal received from the electric vehicle (3), converts the communication signal to a communication signal in accordance with the first charging protocol and outputs the converted communication signal to the first communication unit (12).
