Abstract:
The present invention relates to a protrusion-type fireproof structure installed so as to surround the inner or outer surface of a cable tray in which cables are laid, the protrusion-type fireproof structure for fire protection of a cable tray according to the present invention being installed so as to surround the cable tray, in which communication or electrical cables are laid, to protect the cables and cable tray from a fire. The protrusion-type fireproof structure comprises: a fireproof cover made of thermally expandable material which expands from heat in the event of a fire, and having a quadrilateral box shape so to be installed surrounding the inner or outer surface of the cable tray or duct in which cables are installed, and having a plurality of ventilation through-holes; and a plurality of expansion leaves made of the same thermally expandable material as the fireproof cover, protruding on the outer surface thereof, and arranged between the ventilation through-holes to thermally expand before the fireproof cover due to heat in the event of a fire to thus close the ventilation through-holes.
