Abstract:
The purpose of the present invention is to provide a proximity sensor device which can detect proximity and contact through a simple configuration. A proximity sensor device 10 according to the present embodiment has a detecting electrode 16 which forms an electrostatic capacitance between the sensor and an object to be detected. The detecting electrode 16 is mounted on an electrode base plate 14. The detecting part 18 detects the electrostatic capacitance on the basis of the output of the detecting electrode 16. The electrode base plate 14 is supported by a push button-type switch 100. The electrostatic capacitance changes when the object to be detected approaches the detecting electrode 16. The approach of the object to be detected can be detected by the change in the electrostatic capacitance. The push button-type switch 10 is turned on when the object to be detected contacts the detecting electrode 16. The contact of the object to be detected can be detected by the turn-on of the push button-type switch 10.
