Abstract:
Disclosed in the embodiments of the present invention is a communication method, and the method is used in any situation and ensures UE to establish a PDN connection through an APN with a capability of accessing a home ProSe function network element, so as to realize the communication between the UE and the home ProSe function network element. The method comprises: a mobility management network element determines the Access Point Name APN needed by a Packet Data Network PDN connection; the mobility management network element sends the determined APN to the UE, so as to establish the PDN connection by the UE according to the APN, and the PDN connection being used for realizing the communication between the UE and the home ProSe function network element.
