Abstract:
Pruning shears 1 in which a cutting blade 10 having a protruding blade part 11 that is curved in a protruding shape from a base part side to a tip end side, and a receiving blade 20 having a concave blade part 21 that is curved in a concave shape from the base part side to the tip end side, are connected so as to be able to turn about a spindle 30, wherein the concave blade part 21 is formed so that the shortest distance to the protruding blade part 11 at each location gradually increases from the base part side toward the tip end side and then decreases after passing through a constricted section S, and is configured so that when the cutting blade 10 is turned in the closing direction in relation to the receiving blade 20, the constricted section S moves toward the base part side of the concave blade part 21.
