Abstract:
The present invention efficiently provides artificial tactile force. This pseudo tactile force generation device has a base mechanism and a contact mechanism for performing a periodic asymmetrical motion on the base mechanism and exerting force based on the asymmetrical motion on skin or a mucous membrane in direct or indirect contact, either the mass of the contact mechanism being less than the mass of the base mechanism, or the mass of the contact mechanism being less than the sum total of the mass of the base mechanism and the mass of a mechanism attached to the base mechanism.
