Abstract:
This psychological state estimating system (100) comprises: a physiological data acquisition unit (32a) for acquiring heartbeat data or pulse wave data of a subject (1); a first state quantity calculation unit (32b) for calculating a first state quantity indicating the balance state of a sympathetic nerve and a parasympathetic nerve of the subject (1) on the basis of a first index indicating the balance of the sympathetic nerve and the parasympathetic nerve calculated on the basis of the heartbeat data or the pulse wave data; a second state quantity calculation unit (32c) for calculating a second state quantity indicating the state of the autonomic nerve activity quantity of the subject on the basis of a second index indicating the autonomic nerve activity quantity calculated on the basis of the heartbeat data or the pulse wave data; and a psychological state estimation unit (32d) for estimating the psychological state of the subject by regarding the first state quantity as a value on a first axis that obliquely intersects both the pleasant-unpleasant axis and the activated-deactivated axis on Russell's circumplex model and regarding the second state quantity as a value on a second axis that intersects the first axis.
