Abstract:
The present invention relates to a catalyst for synthesis of hydrogen and a method of preparing hydrogen using same, and the catalyst for synthesis of hydrogen according to the present invention comprises: a porous support; platinum supported in pores of the porous support; and palladium mixed with the platinum and supported in the pores. According to the present invention, platinum and palladium are mixed and supported in the porous support, thereby significantly improving dehydrogenation activity even at a low temperature, so that hydrogen can be effectively obtained from a liquid organic hydrogen storage.
