Abstract:
A pulse generation circuit (12) is provided with: a PWM waveform output unit (20) that outputs a PWM waveform of a duty cycle, one linear PWM pulse of which is determined by a first bit count; an input connector (22) that is input with a control signal indicating a duty cycle determined by a second bit count that is greater than the first bit count; and a setting unit (24) that sets the PWM waveform output from the PWM waveform output unit (20), on the basis of the control signal input to the input connector (22), so that a set constituted from the plurality of linear PWM pulses that are sequenced according to the second bit count is designated as one period.
