Abstract:
A pulse magnetization method of a bulk superconductor characterized in that
a copper material is arranged on upper and/or lower portion of the bulk superconductor
when the bulk superconductor is magnetized by pulse magnetization. Magnetization
can be controlled by varying the thickness of the copper material used in the method.
For using the bulk superconductor not as an electric conductor but as a permanent
magnet having a very large magnetic force, the bulk superconductor can be magnetized
efficiently by a simple pulse magnetization method.
