Abstract:
This pulse power supply device (100) comprises: capacitors (C1-C4); a DC power supply (VDC); insulating inductors (L1-L4); semiconductor switches (Q1-Q4) which are arranged so as to connect the capacitors (C1-C4) in series when in a conducting state and are capable of controlling capacitors (C1-C4) to be discharged; gate drive circuits (GATE1-GATE4); a gate control unit (20) which generates drive signals; and a gate power supply unit (10) which generates a gate power supply, wherein the gate power supply unit (10) comprises a multi-output transformer with which the capacitors (C1-C4) are in multi-parallel for the number of stages, and a gate voltage control unit which is connected to a secondary side of the multi-output transformer and controls a first power consumption in a non-conducting state of the semiconductor switches (Q1-Q4) such that the difference between the first power consumption and a second power consumption in a conducting state of the semiconductor switches (Q1-Q4) is in a specified range.
