Abstract:

Pulse wave analyzing software for more extracting information on an artery collected from a pulse wave, and a pulse waver analyzer are disclosed. Formulae developed by the present inventors are applied to pulse wave data measured with time, cardiogram data, and phonocardiogram data to calculate novel parameters (for example, a bulk modulus of elasticity (Km) and a Young’s modulus (E_A)) of an artery. These parameters enable noninvasive, accurate, simple-and-convenient, quick evaluation of a function of an organism.
