Abstract:

A server device (10) acquires images taken of a subject and for each of multiple wavelength components contained in the images, extracts an intensity that represents the signal component of a specified frequency band, for which the length of overlap with a frequency band in which pulse waves can be detected is at or less than a specified length, from the signal for the wavelength component. Using the intensities extracted for each wavelength component, the server device (10) also calculates weighting factors, which are to be multiplied on the signals when computing a signal using the respective wavelength components and with which the post-multiplication computed value of the specified frequency band signal component is minimized. The server device (10) also multiplies a weighting factor on at least one of the wavelength component signals, computes the signal using the respective wavelength components after the multiplication of the weighting factor, and detects the subject's pulse wave using the post-computation signal.
