Abstract:
A pulse wave detection device (10) acquires an image. The pulse wave detection device (10) performs facial recognition on the image. The pulse wave detection device (10) sets, according to the result of the face detection, the same area of interest in the frame from which the image was acquired, and the frame previous thereto. The pulse wave detection device (10) detects a pulse wave signal from the luminance difference obtained between the frame and the previous frame.
