Title:
PULSE WAVE MEASUREMENT DEVICE
Document Type and Number:
WIPO Patent Application WO/2017/033667
Kind Code:
A1
Abstract:
Provided is a pulse wave measurement device that is capable of enhancing the detection accuracy of pressure pulse waves by eliminating the impact of static electricity from friction with the skin. The pulse wave measurement device is equipped with: a pressure pulse wave sensor (1) that is provided with a semiconductor substrate (10A) upon which pressure-sensitive elements (S) and terminal sections (10B, 10C) electrically connected to the pressure-sensitive elements (S) are formed and a rigid substrate (11) including terminal sections (11B, 11C) electrically connected to the terminal sections (10B, 10C) and to which the semiconductor substrate (10A) is fixed, and that is used by pressing the pressure-sensitive surface upon which the pressure-sensitive elements (S) are formed against the surface of an organism; a flexible substrate (16) that is provided with wires electrically connected to the terminal sections (11B, 11C) and to which the rigid substrate (11) is fixed; and a surface coating layer (15) that is formed from an insulating material and covers and protects the semiconductor substrate (10A). The flexible substrate (16) includes terminals (G1, G2) that are kept at the same electric potential as the electric potential of the semiconductor substrate (10A) and are exposed to the exterior. The terminals (G1, G2) are in contact with the surface coating layer (15).
