Abstract:
A pulse wave measuring instrument (1) has a placement base (10) capable of holding
the position of a user's wrist (52) placed thereon, a rotating arm (18) rotatably
fitted to the placement base (10) so as to be able to hold the wrist (52) between
itself and the placement base (10) with the wrist (52) placed on the placement
base (10), and a pulse wave detection part (20) provided on the rotating arm (18)
and detecting a pulse wave by being pressed against the surface of the wrist (52)
placed on the placement base (10). The user's wrist can be easily installed
on the pulse wave measuring instrument, and the instrument can accurately measure
a pulse wave.
