Abstract:
Provided is a pulsed arc welding device which is controlled so as to weld an object to be welded by generating an arc between a welding wire and the object to be welded by feeding the welding wire toward the object to be welded at a feeding speed while supplying a welding current to the welding wire and alternating a peak current period, in which the welding current is a peak current, and a base current period, in which the welding current is a base current that is smaller than the peak current. In order to maintain the arc length of the arc constant, the feeding speed is set to a first feeding speed in the base current period and to a second feeding speed in the peak current period, the second feeding speed being higher than the first feeding speed and being set in accordance with the first feeding speed. With this method, excellent welding quality can be obtained in that spattering is reduced and undercutting is suppressed.
