Abstract:
A centrifugal pump (pump device) having an improved liner ring partitioning the inside of a casing into a high−pressure part and a low−pressure part, wherein the casing (10) is combined with a casing cover (12) to form a volute casing (16) and fluid pressure is built up by the rotation of an impeller (22) disposed inside the volute chamber, and a volute (26) having a spiral part (14) and a diffuser part (24) continued with each other is installed inside the diameter (spigot diameter) of a fitted part (18) for assuring the concentricity of the casing with the casing cover, whereby a more excellent pump performance can be provided by easily forming the volute of ideal shape inside the casing.
