Abstract:
Provided are a pump and a fuel injection device, in which fuel discharge failure and fuel pressure failure are prevented by suppressing the generation of vapor, thereby enabling vehicles, agricultural machines, generators, and the like, which are provided with internal combustion engines, to operate stably.
A pump 30 is provided with: a pump body 31 having a pump chamber 35e defined therein; a plunger 35a reciprocating in response to the rotation of an eccentric cam 41a, thereby feeding fuel sucked in into the pump chamber 35e to an injector; and an input portion 31c to which rotational torque from the outside is applied. The input portion 31c is provided with the eccentric cam 41a coupled to a joint member 38 connected to a rotating member; a boss section 32g for rotatably supporting the joint member 38; and a bush 32d for restricting the axial movement of the joint member 38.
