Abstract:
This pump comprises: a pair of first gear 20 and second gear 30 that mesh with each other; a housing 11 in which accommodation chambers 16, 17 for rotatably accommodating the first gear 20 and the second gear 30 are formed; a suction port 40 for sucking a fluid into the accommodation chambers 16, 17; a discharge port 41 for discharging the fluid from the accommodation chambers 16, 17; an opening 42 that is provided in the housing 11, communicates the outside of the housing 11 with the accommodation chambers 16, 17 in a gear radial direction, and exposes a portion of gear teeth 31 of the second gear 30 to the outside of the housing 11 to mesh with a third gear 65; and a plate member 18 that extends from an end facing the opening 42 of the housing 11, and covers a mesh portion X between the second gear 30 and the third gear 65 from one end side in a gear rotational axis direction.
