Description PUMP-TYPE HAIR TREATMENT TOOL FOR HAIR DYEING
Technical Field
[1] The present invention relates, in general, to a hair treatment tool for hair dyeing and, more particularly, to a pump-type hair treatment tool for hair dyeing, which enables a first liquid agent and a second liquid agent, which are necessary for hair dyeing, to be pumped using a one-touch lever, thus enabling hair to be dyed regardless of time and place while being more trouble-free than a mechanical rotation mechanism.
[2]
Background Art
[3] Generally, a hair dyeing agent (first liquid agent) and a neutralizing agent (second liquid agent) are needed in order to dye hair. These two liquid agents must be mixed with each other when dyeing hair. For this reason, hair dyeing must generally be conducted in beauty salons or barbershops. In order to solve such a problem, Korean Pat. No. 10-0607573, entitled "Hair Treatment Tool for Hair Dyeing," has been proposed.
[4] The hair treatment tool 900 for hair dyeing, shown in FIG. 9, includes: a main vessel body 910; a hair dyeing agent tube 920 and a neutralizing agent tube 930, which are provided in the main vessel body 910 and respectively hold a hair dying agent and a neutralizing agent therein; a hair comb unit 950, which is coupled to one end of the main vessel body 910; hair dying agent release holes 921 and neutralizing agent release holes 931, which are provided in the hair comb unit 950 and release the hair dying agent and the neutralizing agent; connection pipes 940, which connect the hair dying agent release holes 921 and neutralizing agent release holes 931 with the hair dying agent tube 920 and the neutralizing agent tube 930, respectively; and a release member, which has a rotational knob 970 and is provided in the main vessel body 910. The release member includes a rotational pressure body 980, which has the rotational knob 970 exposed outside the main vessel body 910 on one side thereof and causes the hair dying agent and the neutralizing agent, which are contained in the hair dying agent tube 920 and the neutralizing agent tube 930, to be pushed out while rotating, and a gear unit 911, which is formed between the main vessel body 910 and the rotational pressure body 980 and moves the rotational pressure body 980 in the longitudinal direction of the main vessel body 910 in a geared manner, and is configured to release the hair dyeing agent and the neutralizing agent, which are respectively contained in the hair dyeing agent tube 920 and the neutralizing agent tube 930, through the hair dying agent release holes 921 and neutralizing agent release holes 931 via the cor-
responding connection pipes 940 by pressing the hair dyeing agent tube 920 and the neutralizing agent tube 930.
[5] However, the prior art hair treatment tool for hair dyeing has the following problems.
[6] First, the hair treatment tool for hair dyeing is problematic in that the hair dyeing agent and the neutralizing agent cannot be discharged while a user combs his or her hair in the state in which the hair treatment tool is held in one hand. That is, the hair treatment tool for hair dyeing is inconvenient because dyeing must be conducted in such a way that a user individually discharges the first liquid agent and the neutralizing agent using two hands in the state in which the hair treatment tool for hair dyeing is placed on a support surface, and then combs his or her hair in the state in which the hair treatment tool is held in one hand.
[7] Second, the hair treatment tool for hair dyeing is problematic in that it is difficult for the old and the weak to use it because a user must directly rotate the rotational knob in order to discharge the first and second liquid agents under pressure.
[8] Third, the hair treatment tool for hair dyeing is problematic in that it can be easily damaged because the hair treatment tool has a mechanical structure in which first and second liquid agents are pressed both by the rotational knob and by the gear unit.
[9] Fourth, the hair treatment tool for hair dyeing is problematic in that it has a large size, because two tubes, one rotational knob and one gear unit are mounted in the main vessel body, and in that it is difficult for users to hold the main vessel body in one hand because the tubes occupy a large space considering the capacity thereof.

[37] [38]
Best Mode for Carrying Out the Invention [39] Preferred embodiments of the present invention are described in detail with reference to the accompanying drawings. The same reference numerals are used throughout the different drawings to designate the same or similar components. [40] FIG. 1 is a perspective view of a hair treatment tool for hair dyeing according to an embodiment of the present invention, and FIGS. 2 and 3 are an exploded perspective view and a partially cut-away perspective view of the hair treatment tool for hair dyeing, shown in FIG. 1.
[41] As shown in the drawings, the pump-type hair treatment tool for hair dyeing according to the present invention, which is indicated by reference numeral 10, includes a handle member 20, a hair comb member 30, and pumps 41 and 51.
[42] The handle member 20 is the part that is held in one hand by a user. A first liquid agent tube and a second liquid agent tube are mounted in the handle member 20. The first liquid agent tube and the second liquid agent tube are tubes in which respective liquid agents necessary for hair dyeing are contained. The first liquid agent tube of the present invention is formed such that a first external tube 211 is formed using metal or hard synthetic resin, and a first internal tube 212 made of soft material is provided inside the first external tube 211. In the same manner as the first external tube 211, the second liquid agent tube is also provided with a second external tube 221. A second internal tube 222 made of soft synthetic resin is placed within the second external tube 221 (refer to FIG. 4). The first liquid agent tube and the second liquid agent tube are fastened to the respective pumps 41 and 51 using screws, and are hermetically sealed.
[43] The hair comb member 30 is configured such that the first liquid agent and second liquid agent, which are respectively contained in the first liquid agent tube and the second liquid agent tube, are discharged, and is provided with a plurality of comb teeth 25 so as to comb hair. First discharge holes 31 and second discharge holes 32 are alternately formed along the central portion of the hair comb member 30. Furthermore, a first connection pipe 43 and a second connection pipe 53, which communicate with the first discharge holes 31 and the second discharge holes 32, are mounted in the hair comb member 30 (refer to FIGS. 4 and 5).
[44] The first connection pipe 43 is connected to the first pump 41, and transfers the first liquid agent, contained in the first internal tube 212, to the first discharge holes 31. In the same manner, the second connection pipe 53 is connected to the second pump 51, and transfers the second liquid agent, contained in the second internal tube 222, to the second discharge holes 32.
[45] The first pump 41 and the second pump 51, which are respectively connected with the first connection pipe 43 and the second connection pipe 53, are respectively placed in the first internal tube 212 and in the second internal tube 222, as shown in FIG. 3. A first actuation lever 42 for actuating the first pump 41 and a second actuation lever 52 for actuating the second pump 51 may be mounted so as to be separated from each other, as shown in FIG. 7, or may be mounted to operate in conjunction with each other, like the actuation lever 55 shown in FIG. 8. The first and second pumps 41 and 51 may be implemented using vacuum pumps that are typically used in shampoo bottles or kitchen detergent bottles.
[46] As indicated in the enlarged view of a principle part of FIG. 6, the first discharge holes 31 and the second discharge holes 32 are formed to alternate in the same line. It
is preferred that comb teeth 25 close to the first discharge holes 31 and the second discharge holes 32 have a crescent shape so as to appropriately disperse discharging liquid agents. Although not shown in any drawing, the first discharge holes 31 and the second discharge holes 32 may be formed in different respective lines.
[47] Furthermore, residual liquid agent may exist on the ends of the first discharge holes
31 and the second discharge holes 32, through which the liquid agents were discharged. Accordingly, an airtight cover 27 is mounted as shown in FIG. 2, so that agents remaining after use can be prevented from contacting air.
[48] The first and second pumps 41 and 51 are connected with the first and second connection pipes 43 and 53, respectively. According to the operation the first and second pumps 41 and 51, ends of the first and second pumps 41 and 51 slide in the respective pipes 43 and 53 so that the liquid agents may leak out through the junctions between the pumps and the pipes. However, in the present invention, the liquid agents can be prevented from leaking out through the junctions due to rubber rings 60 and valves 57, in particular, the flow of air into pumped liquid agents can be prevented (refer to FIG. 9). Furthermore, as shown in FIG. 10, bellows-shaped pipes may be used for portions of the first and second connection pipes 43 and 53 that are connected to the respective ends of the first and second pumps 41 and 51. Alternatively, U-shaped pipes, which can absorb the variation in the lengths of the reciprocating ends of the first and second pumps 41 and 51, may be used for the portions of the first and second connection pipes 43 and 53 that are connected to the respective ends of the pumps 41 and 51.
[49] Furthermore, when the liquid agents are pumped by the pumps 41 and 51, the size of each of the first and second internal tubes 212 and 222 decreases. In order to accommodate this decreased size, respective vent holes 29 are formed in the first and second external tubes 211 and 221, and thus external air can freely enter (refer to FIG.
4).
[50] As shown in FIG. 11, the first actuation lever 42 and the second actuation lever 52 are manufactured to have a plate shape, and are mounted to be close to each other, so that the first actuation lever 42 and the second actuation lever 52 can be prevented from rotating. Another embodiment is shown in FIG. 12. A pressing lever 59 having the shape of a rectangular column may be mounted on the actuation lever 55. One end of the pressing lever 59 is connected as shown in FIG. 7, using a hinge 58.
[51] Furthermore, as shown in FIG. 7, the hair comb member 20 is inclined at an angle of
15 - 20 with respect to the handle member 30, and thus the usage thereof is convenient when the user dyes side hair around the ears.
[52] Furthermore, since liquid agents discharged through the first discharge holes 31 and the second discharge holes 32 maintain a certain viscosity, an increased amount of the
liquid agents, depending on the lengths of the first and second connection pipes 43 and 53, is discharged through first and second discharge holes 31 and 32 that are close to the first and second internal tubes 212 and 222, but a decreased amount of the liquid agents is discharged through first and second discharge holes 31 and 32 that are further spaced apart from each other. To solve this problem, as shown in FIG. 8, first and second discharge holes 31 and 32, which are spaced apart from the first and second internal tubes 212 and 222, are formed in pairs, and thus the liquid agents can be uniformly discharged over the entire surface of the comb tooth member 30.
[53]
[54]
Industrial Applicability
[55] According to the present invention, constructed as described above, the first liquid agent and the second liquid agent can be naturally discharged while a user holds the hair treatment tool of the present invention in one hand and combs his or her hair. Furthermore, the old and the weak can easily discharge the first liquid agent and the second liquid agent. In particular, durability is increased in comparison with hair treatment tools that operate in a mechanical manner.
[56] Although the preferred embodiments of the present invention have been disclosed for illustrative purposes, those skilled in the art will appreciate that various modifications, additions and substitutions are possible, without departing from the scope and spirit of the invention as disclosed in the accompanying claims.
