Abstract:
[Problem] To provide: a pump unit which has a reduced overall length and the mechanical efficiency of which is maintained when the pump unit is used for a long period of time; and an actuator provided with the pump unit.
[Solution] A pump unit (U) is provided with: a hydraulic pump (P); a motor (M); a coupling (8) for connecting the drive shaft (2) of the hydraulic pump (P) and the shaft (7) of the motor (M); a holder (H) having a hollow accommodation section (L) for accommodating the coupling (8); and an introduction passage (D) for introducing hydraulic oil into the accommodation section (L).
