Abstract:
This pump unit is for use in a drug administration mechanism for administering a liquid drug packed in a drug container to a patient. The pump unit is provided with: a pump 31 that sucks a drug from the drug container and discharges the drug to a patient; a pump inlet-side flow path that guides the drug from the drug container to the pump 31; and a pump outlet-side flow path that guides the drug from the pump 31 to a patient. The pump unit is additionally provided with: a bypass flow path 35 having one side connected to the pump inlet-side flow path and another side connected to the pump outlet-side flow path; a bypass opening/closing valve 36 for opening and closing the bypass flow path; and a block body 37 having incorporated therein the pump inlet-side flow path, the pump outlet-side flow path, and the bypass flow path 35.
