The invention relates to a pump unit comprising an electric drive motor and an electronic control device. Said control device is divided into two functional modules arranged on at least two separate printed circuit boards, a first functional module representing a supply part that provides the input voltage for the second functional module, the second functional module comprising an electronic motor system connected to stator coils of the drive motor for the electrical supply of said coils.
