A punch press comprising a head including a ram and dies, which are movable in a Y-axis direction, the head being provided on a body frame; and a first and a second unit for moving a work in an X-axis direction and positioning the same, the first and second units being provided on opposite sides of the head in the X-axis direction of a region of movement of the head.
