Abstract:
A crimping tool (10) includes a frame (12), a die (16) fixedly and non-pivotally supported by the frame, a punch arm (14) pivotally mounted on the frame (10), a mating die (18) affixed to the punch arm (14), and an actuator (20) interconnected to the punch arm (14) for moving the mating die (18) between a first position in which the mating die (18) engages the die (16) and a second position in which the mating die (18) is spaced from the die (16). The mating die (18) is a male die having a generally triangular cross section.
