Abstract:

This puncture needle (1) for medical use is provided with a distal end section (2) including the needle point (8) and is also provided with a body section (3) continuous with the distal end section (2) and having a substantially circular cross-sectional outer shape. In a single imaginary plane (X) including the center axis (O) of the body section (3), the distal end section (2) comprises blade surfaces (5, 6) consisting of curved surfaces, the angle (θ) of the blade surfaces (5, 6) measured relative to the imaginary plane (X) in a cross-section perpendicular to the direction of the center axis gradually decreasing in the direction of the center axis toward the needle point (8).
