Abstract:

The disclosed puncture needle is configured from a resin material. The puncture needle is provided with: a body that forms an elongated shape and that has a sharp needle point at the end; and at least three blades that are provided protruding from the body in directions perpendicular to the central axis thereof, extend along the direction of the central axis, and are disposed around the central axis. Also, adjacent blades are disposed offset from each other in the direction of the central axis, and thus can cut open the surface of a living body with a difference in timing. Also, the height of the tip of each blade tapers in the direction towards the tip.
