Abstract:
The present invention provides a puncture needle (10) including a needle (20) with a recessed portion (46) formed in an outer surface (20a). In an installed state in which a shaft section (16) is inserted into an inner cavity (24) of the needle (20) and a support member (12) installed on a needle member (14), a space (44) is formed between a tip inner surface (38) and a tip (tip surface (26)) of the shaft portion (16). The needle (20) includes a space adjacent portion (60) surrounding the space (44). The recessed portion (46) is provided only in the outer surface (20a) of the needle (20) except for the space adjacent portion (60).
