Abstract:
The purpose of the present invention is to provide a puncture pain relieving device which can be used upon the punctuation of a puncture needle into a body in artificial dialysis or the like, and which is highly convenient.
A puncture pain relieving device is composed of a cooler (22) equipped with a Peltier element or the like, a main body (11) for housing the cooler (22) or the like therein, and a pressing body (20) that can be cooled by the cooler (22) and protrudes from the main body (11) toward the outside so as to be in contact with the skin, wherein a projecting part (28) for forming a pressed trace (M) on the skin is provided on an edge surface of the pressing body (20). When the projecting part (28) is provided, a pressed trace (M), e.g., a depressed part or a reddened part, remains on the surface of the skin, although for a short time, after the cooling of the skin using the pressing body (20). A cooled region can be grasped visually by means of the pressed trace (M), and the relief of pain is ensured by an effect similar to refrigeration anesthesia when a puncture needle is inserted into the center of the pressed trace (M). Thus, the puncture pain relieving device is highly convenient.
