Abstract:
A pupil detection device (5) detects movement of a pupil (6), on the basis of an image capture result of an image capture device (4) that captures an image including the pupil (6). The pupil detection device comprises an acquisition unit (51) and a control unit (52). The acquisition unit acquires image capture data (D1) indicating the image capture result from the image capture device. The control unit executes data processing based on the image capture data acquired by the acquisition unit. The control unit counts, on the basis of the image capture data, a change in luminance of each pixel in a region in which the luminance has changed temporally, and detects movement of the pupil on the basis of the counted value of the changes in luminance that were counted.
