Abstract:
[Problem] To eliminate the need for inputting a card ID and enable payment to be smoothly achieved by a prepaid card when the prepaid card is used in purchasing a commodity online. [Solution] A purchase handling server 80 of a shopping system 2 that provides the opportunity of purchasing a commodity online performs a log-in process upon receiving log-in information from a user terminal T1, and inquires of a prepayment management server 5 of a business entity that is a prepaid card issuer about the amount of prepayment of a prepaid card of a user for whom log-in is completed. The prepayment management server 5 transmits prepayment information to be notified of prepayment in response to the inquiry to a transaction server 80. When the prepayment information is received, the purchase handling server 80 determines whether or not purchase by a prepaid card is possible for a purchaser order of the user on the basis of the notified prepayment and, when it is determined that purchase is possible, causes a screen for confirming to the effect that purchase is made using a prepaid card to be displayed on the user terminal.
