Abstract:
Provided is a purchasing administration device (1) whereby a subject user who has made an initial product purchase is notified of a subsequent purchase time. The device (1) is capable of comparing a purchase history database (20), wherein a user ID and a purchase history are associated, with a product database (21), wherein a product ID and a category ID are associated. The device (1) acquires the user ID of the subject user from the purchase history database (20). A category is defined using the category ID of the category to which the initial product belongs, and a purchase interval is computed for the product which belongs to the category on the basis of the purchase history which is defined using the subject user ID from the purchase history of the product which belongs to the category which is defined. The interval of the initial product purchase is estimated on the basis of the computed purchase interval. It is possible to estimate a purchase interval on the basis of a known purchase history even for an initially purchased product for which no purchase history exists.
