Abstract:
A purge system comprises: a main tank; a compressor; an air dryer that has a purge valve and supplies air discharged from the compressor to the main tank; a governor that supplies instructed pressure from the main tank and stops the supply of the instructed pressure in accordance with a tank pressure, which is the pressure inside the main tank; an electromagnetic valve that switches between closing and opening a pipe connecting the governor and the purge valve; and a control unit that causes the electromagnetic valve to close the pipe in at least one circumstance from among a case where a prescribed operation has been detected, a case where the amount of air supplied to the air dryer by the compressor in a prescribed period is assessed to be less than a first threshold value, and a case where the time duration from the time when the governor starts the supply of the instructed pressure until the time when the governor stops the supply of instructed pressure is equal to or greater than a reference time duration.
