Abstract:
A push-the-bit rotary steerable device (100), comprising: a mandrel (12) provided with a central passage (12a); an outer sleeve (14) connected outside the mandrel (12) in a rotating sleeving way; a plurality of swinging type wing ribs (17) circumferentially arranged in the outer wall of the outer sleeve (14) at intervals; an actuation mechanism (18), used for controlling each swinging type wing rib (17) to swing; a plurality of detectors (15) circumferentially arranged in the outer wall of the outer sleeve at intervals, the detectors (15) being structured to detect the distances between the detectors (15) and a well wall in real time; and a controller (16), structured to determine, according to the detected distances, whether the actuation mechanism is required to actuate the swinging type wing ribs (17) to swing. Also disclosed is a method for using the push-the-bit rotary steerable device. According to the push-the-bit rotary steerable device, expanding and reducing well sections can be timely detected by the real-time detection of the detectors, so that the rotary steerable device can be prevented from steering at the well sections, the steering of the rotary steerable device can be prevented from being deviated from a preset direction, and the well inclination and the azimuth of a drilled inclined well are further ensured.
