Abstract:
A collapsible push chair frame has a pair of front legs (1) and a pair of rear legs (2). The front legs are hollow to receive telescopic handles (4). The handles are generally L-shaped and provided with an internal mechanism operated by buttons (7) for adjusting their angular and longitudinal position. A seat platform (21) comprises outer parts (22) pivotally connected (23) to the front leg (1) and hingedly connected to inner parts (24), themselves hinged to each other. The rear ends (26) of the outer parts are pivotally, connected to the slides (27) received in over-hung grooves (28) running along the inside faces of the rear legs. A collapsible scissors mechanism (31) interconnects the sides. When the sides (1, 2) of the seat are collapsed towards each other, the scissors mechanism closes and the rear legs pivot towards the front legs.
