Abstract:
A push-up device (10) is provided with: a case (16); a rod (20) held within the case (16) and protruding from the inside of the case (16) to assume an advanced position; a rod pressing member (26) elastically compressed within the case (16) and pressing the rod (20) in the protruding direction in which the rod (20) is pushed out from the inside of the case (16); a slide cam (21) moving in the protruding direction together with the rod (20); and a rotary cam (22) capable of rotating about the axis of the rod (20) relative to the slide cam (21). The push-up device is further provided with: a lock mechanism which is located between the case (16) and the rod (20), pushes in the rod (20) against the pressing force of the rod pressing member (26) to cause the rotary cam (22) to engage with the slide cam (21) and rotate, and locks the rod (20) to the retracted position of the case (16); and a rotary cam pressing member (25) for pressing the rotary cam (22) in the protruding direction.
