Abstract:
A putting training apparatus for developing and improving a player's putting stroke is disclosed. The apparatus consists of a track or race formed in a raised platform defining a pre-determined guide path. A guide which can be attached to the shaft of a putter is arranged to slide along the track to guide the putter along a putting path substantially parallel to the guide path. The guide is arranged to attach to the putter shaft in such a manner that the blade of the putter is correctly oriented at the point of impact with a golf ball, irrespective of the angle of the putter shaft to the blade.
