Abstract:
A PVA foaming material and a foaming method therefor. The present invention relates to a foaming material. In order to solve the existing difficulties of the continuous extrusion and foaming of PVA, the present invention employs the hydrolyzability of PVA, and foams the PVA in a hydrolytic swelling state at a temperature lower than the boiling point of PVA. The beneficial effects of the present invention lie in: adding a microporous expansion foaming agent in a swelling state by using water as a medium and foaming below the boiling point of PVA, which prevents PVA gasification, while achieving extrusion molding, and the operation process is simple; the prepared finished product is light-weight (low-density), has high compressive strength (up to 259 KPa), is high in degradable components, and is environmentally friendly.
