Abstract:
A pyrromethene boron complex according to one embodiment of the present invention is a compound that is represented by general formula (1). (In general formula (1), X represents C-R7 or N; R1 and R3 represent aryl groups that are different from each other; R2 and R4 to R9 may be the same as or different from each other, and are selected from the group consisting of a hydrogen atom, an alkyl group, a cycloalkyl group, a heterocyclic group, an alkenyl group, a cycloalkenyl group, an alkynyl group, a hydroxyl group, a thiol group, an alkoxy group, an alkylthio group, an aryl ether group, an arylthioether group, an aryl group, a heteroaryl group, a halogen, a cyano group, an aldehyde group, a carbonyl group, a carboxy group, an oxycarbonyl group, a carbamoyl group, an amino group, a nitro group, a silyl group, a siloxanyl group, a boryl group, and a phosphine oxide group; and meanwhile, one of the pair of R4 and R5 and the pair of R5 and R6 is a ring structure that is expressed by one of general formulae (2A) to (2D).)
