Abstract:
Disclosed are a QoS guarantee method and a gateway, relating to the technical field of communications, and able to provide a QoS guarantee for different user equipments. The specific solution is: a user plane gateway acquiring QoS guarantee information, and providing a QoS guarantee for a user equipment according to the QoS guarantee information, wherein the QoS guarantee information is sent to the user plane gateway by a control plane gateway, or the QoS guarantee information is obtained, by the user plane gateway, by converting a QoS parameter sent by the control plane gateway. The present invention is applied to a QoS guarantee process of a user equipment.
