Abstract:
A QR code-based cardless payment method and system. The method comprises the following steps: a user equipment (100) scans a merchant QR code (102); a payment service system (108) prompts: ''Please input an amount payable'' on the user equipment (100), the payment service system (108) comprising an application server (110) and/or a security server (112); input an order amount on the user equipment (100); the payment service system (108) prompts: ''Please input a verification code'' on the user equipment (100); input a verification code on the user equipment (100); if the input verification code matches a pre-set verification code, the payment service system (108) successfully handles a transaction; or if the input verification code does not match the pre-set verification code, the payment service system (108) prompts to input a correct verification code. By means of the QR code-based cardless payment method and system, a merchant can achieve cardless payment in a form of scanning a QR code without configuration of a physical cash register in a store.
