Abstract:
A quantum circuit and a quantum computer capable of performing the multi−bit quantum computation. Control unitary conversion is realized by indicating the quantum bit by the optical polarization direction, successively inputting the polarized optical pulse row indicating the row of the quantum bit, and determining the magnitude of the polarizing rotation and the phase difference functioning on a certain optical pulse according to the measurement result of the polarization of the previously input optical pulse row. The effect of errors is reduced by setting the number of photons included in one pulse to be larger than 1 in the optical pulse indicating the quantum bit.
