Abstract:
One embodiment of this quantum computer is provided with a light source unit, physical systems (X1) (i = 1,…, N), and physical systems (Yj) (j = 1,…,N2) disposed in an oscillator. In each physical system (Xi), the state |e>i has a higher energy than the state |2>i used in assisting a gate operation and the state |0>i used in a qubit, and the transition |2>i - | e >i is resonant in a resonator mode of a resonator. In each physical system (Yj), the state |e>'j has a higher energy than the state |2>'j, and the transition |2>'j - |e>'j is resonant in the resonator mode. The light source unit radiates at the oscillator a first and second laser light that respectively resonate with the |1>s - |e>s transition and the |1>t - |e>t transition in order to operate physical system Xs and physical system Xt, and a third laser light for collecting a population to |2>'j with respect to physical system Yj.
