Abstract:
A quantum dot lens (6) and a manufacturing method therefor. The quantum dot lens (6) comprises a lens main body shaped as a solid of revolution. A light entrance surface and a light exit surface are formed on the lens main body. The centers of the light entrance surface and of the light exit surface are both located on the central axis of the lens main body. The lens main body is filled therein with a quantum dot material. Also, the manufacturing method for the quantum dot lens (6). The quantum dot lens (6) can be used with a single LED. By controlling quantum dots to form the quantum dot lens (6), a beam angle is expanded, thereby reducing the amount of the quantum dot material used, thus reducing manufacturing costs.
