Abstract:
A question inference device 1 is provided with: an input unit 10 through which an inquiry from a user is inputted; a storage unit 30 in which a plurality of questions prepared in advance and one or more keywords for identifying each of the questions are stored in association with each other; a selection unit 42 which, by referring to the storage unit 30, selects a question associated with a keyword contained in the inquiry inputted through the input unit 10, from among the plurality of questions; a calculation unit 43 which calculates the likelihood of each of the plurality of questions with respect to the inquiry inputted through the input unit 10; an inference unit 44 which infers a question having the subject matter intended by the user from among the plurality of questions on the basis of the selection result by the selection unit 42 and the calculation result by the calculation unit 43; and an output unit 20 which outputs information based on the inference result by the inference unit 44.
